Mary Pierce is a native of Newport News, Virginia, and brings many rich experiences to the behavioral health field. Ms. Pierce possesses knowledge of Medicaid Laws, Department of Behavioral Health, and Developmental Services (DBHDS), knowledge of quality assurance principles, and applications.

PRIVATE PAY also accepted according to Medicaid rates.
What services does AuhVee Behavioral Health provide?
AuhVee Behavioral Health offers **Community Engagement Services** for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Our services focus on helping individuals participate in community activities, develop social and life skills, and build relationships to enhance independence and quality of life.
Who is eligible for services at AuhVee Behavioral Health?
Our services are designed for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities residing in the Hampton Roads area. Eligible individuals typically qualify through Virginia Medicaid Waivers or can pay privately.
What are the requirements to qualify for services?
To access services, clients need:
- A diagnosis of an intellectual or developmental disability (IDD).
- Enrollment in one of the Virginia Medicaid Waivers accepted (Family & Individual Support Waiver, Community Living Waiver, or Building Independence Waiver) or the ability to pay privately.
- A completed intake and assessment with AuhVee Behavioral Health to determine service needs.
