Who is eligible for services at AuhVee Behavioral Health? 
Our services are designed for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities residing in the Hampton Roads area. Eligible individuals typically qualify through Virginia Medicaid Waivers or can pay privately.

What are the requirements to qualify for services?
To access services, clients need:
   - A diagnosis of an intellectual or developmental disability (IDD).
   - Enrollment in one of the Virginia Medicaid Waivers accepted (Family & Individual Support Waiver, Community Living Waiver, or Building Independence Waiver) or the ability to pay privately.
   - A completed intake and assessment with AuhVee Behavioral Health to determine service needs.

What Medicaid Waivers does AuhVee Behavioral Health accept?
We accept the following Virginia Medicaid Waivers:
   - **Family & Individual Support Waiver (FIS)**
   - **Community Living Waiver (CL)**
   - **Building Independence Waiver (BI)**

These waivers cover a variety of services based on the needs and support levels of eligible individuals.

How much do services cost?  
For individuals paying privately,please contact our office for specific rate details.

Can I pay privately for services if I do not have Medicaid?
Yes, private pay is accepted at the same rate as Medicaid reimbursement. This option is available for individuals who do not have Medicaid Waivers but wish to access our services.

Is there a downloadable referral form available?
Yes, we provide a
**downloadable referral form** or you can choose to fill in the online form to streamline the intake process. Completed referral forms can be emailed or faxed to our office for review, and our intake team will follow up to discuss eligibility and next steps.

How do I start services with AuhVee Behavioral Health?
To start services:
   - **Download and complete the referral form** from our website.
   - Submit the completed form to our office via email or fax.
   - Our intake team will review your information, confirm eligibility, and contact you to discuss service options and schedule an assessment.

What is Community Engagement Services?
Community Engagement Services help individuals build independence and confidence by participating in community activities and learning practical skills. Our team supports clients in activities like using public transportation, volunteering, joining local programs, and pursuing hobbies, all of which encourage active community involvement.

Do you offer any other services beyond Community Engagement?
